COACH KUBINSKI SAYS... "Doug made a big splash for us this past season. He competed in nearly every event as a freshman and showed great promise. He was inconsistent at times, as most underclassmen are, but had some very good single rounds. He fired a great 71, including an ace, under extremely difficult conditions in his very first event. He also played a great final round at the Border Olympics, and of course, having a chance to win the tournament out in San Diego certainly showed that he is a player capable of great things. He is a strong ball striker and has great skill around the greens. When his putting gains consistency, the sky is the limit."
