COACH KUBINSKI SAYS... "Carl is another example of what our program is about. He needed a year to develop a couple areas of his swing and game. He came to Notre Dame with great competitiveness, a solid short game and excellent iron game, as evidenced by his multiple aces in competition. He is very accurate, but so much of college and professional golf is now dominated by power. Carl has worked to add length without sacrificing accuracy. He is making progress and gaining consistency with his changes. Carl impresses in many ways, but he has been a bit underrated at times. It's only when you add up the score at the end of the day that players realize how competitive he is. I expect more of that this season."
