AS A JUNIOR: Played in two games during the 2001 campaign • came off
the bench in the season opener against Villanova • also saw action in
Notre Dame's BIG EAST semifinal contest versus St. John's.
AS A SOPHOMORE: Played in two games during his sophomore season • saw
action for the first time coming off the bench in the season opener
against New Mexico and also played in the Cleveland State contest.
AS A FRESHMAN: Earned six starts in the 12 games he played • only
goal of the season was in Notre Dame's 2-2 tie at Valparaiso when he
put the Irish up 2-1 in the match off an Erich Braun assist at the
16:35 mark • first collegiate appearance was in the third game of the
season against Western Michigan which also marked his first career
start.
HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL DATA: Four-year letterwinner at Churchill
High School • scored 28 goals and dished off 25 assists in final two
scholastic campaigns • helped team to two conference and regional
championships during four-year career • squad earned state crown in
1998 by defeating top-seeded Plano in championship final • MVP of
North Loop Tournament • San Antonio Express Player of the Year as a
junior • served as team captain as a senior • garnered all-state
honors as a senior and was a two-time all-region, all-city and
all-conference choice • member of ODP state team for three years •
played his final two years with the Hammers Soccer Club • registered
a 3.408 grade index for the 2000-01 school year and earned Dean's
List recognition in the fall semester after registering a 3.600 grade
point average • born Aug. 29, 1980 • majoring in American Studies and
is enrolled in the College of Arts and Letters.
