AS JUNIOR: Did not play in any games during the 2000 campaign.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Played in three games during the ’99 campaign and earned his first collegiate start versus Valparaiso which also marked his first appearance of the season • in addition to that contest also saw action in Notre Dame’s regular-season matchup versus Villanova and against Rutgers in the quarterfinals of the BIG EAST tournament.

AS A FRESHMAN: Played in two games • saw action in his first collegiate contest in the season opener against Valparaiso.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL DATA: Selected MVP on 1997 St. Viator squad which finished third for the second consecutive year in the Illinois state championship • member of the ‘97 state all-tournament team • led squad to three regional championships and four straight conference crowns • two-time all-conference selection and captain of ’97 squad • selected as one of the top defenders in the state by the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun Times • plays club soccer for Chicago Sockers which won state championship in both ’96 and ’97 • captained State of Illinois Team as senior • trained with Club Tahuichi, a youth team, in Santa Cruz, Brazil, during the summer of ’95 • father Donald and older brothers Donald Jr., John and Dan are Notre Dame graduates • third member of family to play soccer at Notre Dame • has been named to named to the Dean’s List all six semesters at Notre Dame • born March 29, 1980 • enrolled in the College of Arts and Letters as an American studies major.
