Women's Basketball Team To Be Honored At Community Rally

The Notre Dame NCAA national champion women's basketball team will be honored at 5:30 p.m. on Fri., April 27, at a "Team of Destiny" Community Rally at the College Football Hall of Fame Gridiron in downtown South Bend, it was announced on Tuesday by South Bend mayor Stephen J. Luecke. The event will be free and open to the public and will commence following a motorcade that will depart the Joyce Center at 5:15 p.m. The team is scheduled to arrive at the Hall of Fame at 5:30 p.m., followed by a 30-minute rally and an hour autograph session. Concessions and souvenir items will be available for sale as well.
