Irish Women's Golf Team Captures First-Ever BIG EAST Championship

Katie Brophy tied Miami's Tina Miller for medalist honors.

 Freshman Lauren Gebauer finished 12th, in helping the Irish to their first ever BIG EAST Championship.

 Freshman Katie Brophy was co-champion of the first-ever BIG EAST Women's Golf Championship.
In her second year as head coach, Debby King led the Irish to their first BIG EAST Championship.
