Notre Dame's official athletic website, www.und.com, will be the place to follow the University of Notre Dame women's lacrosse team in its tour of Europe from May 30-June 10. Here’s a look at some of the places the Irish will visit during their 12-day trip to Europe:
Wednesday, May 30th – Depart New York – JFK International Airport at 6:45 p.m.
Thursday, May 31st – Arrive Shannon Airport – 6:00 a.m. Travel to Bunratty
Castle before driving to Galway, Ireland.
Friday, June 1st - Take Rossaveal Ferry to Irishmore and Isle of Aran Tour for
the day and return to Galway in the evening.
Saturday, June 2nd – Travel to Dublin. Game vs. Ireland Lacrosse at University
College in Dublin; 4:00 p.m. at the Sports Centre.
Sunday, June 3rd - 10:00 a.m. mass at St. Mary’s Pro-Cathedral; Guided tour
of Dublin during day; trip to Dublin Mountains and Johnnie Fox’s Pub for the
evening.
Monday, June 4th – Trip to Glendalough Estate for Lunch and Team Building
Activity.
Tuesday, June 5th - Take Dublin Ferry to Holyhead, North Wales. Visit city of
Chester, England; visit Stratford-upon-Avon; finish day in Oxford, England.
Wednesday, June 6th – Free day in Oxford, England.
Thursday, June 7th - Travel to London for guided tour of England’s capital,
including the Tower of London and Madame Tussauds.
Friday, June 8th - Free day to tour London. Evening visit to The Apollo
Victoria Theatre for performance of “Wicked.”
Saturday, June 9th – Travel to Cobham Rugby Club for 3:30 p.m. game versus
England’s Under-19 Lacrosse Team.
Sunday, June 10th – Depart London for return to New York and JFK International
Airport.
