A member of the Toledo Rowing Club since August of '91, Stahl has served that organization in a number of capacities and has been instrumental in the long-range strategic plan ning of the program. She was named president of the Board of Trustees in January of 2005 after having been a board member since January of '03. Stahl graduated cum laude from the University of Charleston in Charleston, W. Va. with a bachelor's of science degree in sports medicine and pre-professional studies in May of '99. In addition, she has done graduate coursework in exercise physiology at the University of Toledo.

Beginning in August of 2001, Stahl was employed by the Health Fitness Corporation. She began as a health fitness specialist (August '01-September'02) at the UAW-Ford Health and Fitness Center in Dearborn, Mich. She also was the program manager for the employee fitness center at the Owen Corning Headquarters in Toledo, Ohio, a position she was named to in January of '03.
