AS A JUNIOR AS A SOPHOMORE AS A FRESHMAN
Had one of the finest seasons by a rookie in Notre Dame history ... became first Irish freshman ever to be named honorable mention All-America in multiple events ... named BIG EAST Championships Most Outstanding Swimmer after becoming just the fourth rookie ever to win three individual races in the event ... qualified for NCAA Championships, taking ninth in 200 IM, 14th in 400 IM, and tied for 32nd in 100 free ... moved up 13 spots from seeding in 200 IM, winning consolation final in a time that would have been sixth in the championship final ... it was the best-ever finish for an Irish rookie ... rose 21 spots from seeding in 400 IM ... broke Notre Dame records in both individual medleys (1:58.52 and 4:13.13), with times that ranked eighth and 16th, respectively, in Division I ... bettered 200-yard mark in winning the BIG EAST title with a meet-record time of 2:00.65, which stands as the fastest-ever yards time by an Irish swimmer in the race ... both times in NCAAs converted to quicker than that mark ... set Irish meters records in 200 IM (2:12.28) and 400 IM (4:42.51) in that meet after setting 800-meter freestyle school record (8:51.10) at Texas A&M Invitational ... swam on 800 free relay team that broke Irish record in runner-up finish in BIG EAST Championships (7:20.12) ... also took part in relays that set Notre Dame meters records in 400 free (3:51.80) and 800 free (8:20.92) ... also claimed conference titles in 100 free and 100 fly ... swam on three runner-up relays: 400 medley, 400 free, and 800 free ... earned all-BIG EAST accolades in all seven events and shared high-point honors in the meet with Rutgers' Kelly Harrigan (95.5 points) ... earned berth to national championships with NCAA "A" cut in 200 IM... also had NCAA "B" cuts in 100 free, 100 fly, and 400 IM (in Texas A&M Invitational) ... 200 free (1:32.66) and 400 free relays (3:23.00) both ranked 25th in Division I, while 800 free and 400 medley (3:44.81) were both 27th ... also ranked 30th in nation in 100 fly (season-best 54.29) and tied for 49th in 100 free (50.14) ... was among team's top four in nine of 14 individual events (did not swim any of the other five) ... was team leader in five events: 100 free, 500 free (4:56.43), 100 fly, 200 IM, and 400 IM ... posted all of team's four best times in 100 free and 200 IM, as well as the top three in 400 IM ... qualified for BIG EAST Championships in team-high eight events, but could swim only three per conference rules ... did not swim 400 IM despite having the fastest time in the BIG EAST during the regular season (4:17.86, Texas A&M Invitational) ... ranked among the league's 10 best swimmers during the regular season in each of the events she did not swim: first in 400 IM, fourth in 200 fly (2:03.23), fifth in 200 free (1:51.44), seventh in 500 free (4:58.10), tied for eighth in 50 free (23.86) ... posted conference's top regular season time in 200 IM (2:02.04, Texas A&M Invitational) and was second-quickest in 100 free (51.14, vs. Illinois).
